Uber Complaint

Failed to honor $30 promo code, which was successfully applied to the account before requesting ride. Uber support claims promotion is not eligible to be redeemed on trip in question, but as stated in the Uber App, 'You can see the details of your promotions in the "Payment" section of your app menu.' No additional requirements for the promo code were listed under the "Payment" section in the Uber app.

Lyft Complaint

On April 22 I had already paid Lyft with a different debit/credit card ending with **** that I added that day . From the pick up location Dallas Texas Baylor University Medical center to my drop off location 104 Freeman St Terrell Tx 75160. Remember that my trip was already charged to the Visa Card that was added to my account online and already paid. I contacted Lyft customer support online and inquired that $5 was to be taken out of my debit only how do i go about doing that. Lyft emailed me back this response.....

Lyft Complaint

I reported a lost item in the vehicle. The drive said it was not in the vehicle. I told lyft I know it's in there they said sorry there is nothing we can do about it. Then the drive said the female passengers I was with damaged the vehicle. Lyft charged me $250 I told lyft my passenger or I did not damage the drivers vehicle. I then asked them to describe in detail what supposedly took place. I also asked what was damaged and for picture evidence. They told me the front windshield was cracked. They also sent picture only of inside the vehicle. Lyft said the female passenger stood up in the front seat and fell back onto the rearview mirror and cracked the windshield, but the rearview mirror was still intact n not damaged at all. I told lyft that is impossible it doesn't make any sense.

Uber Complaint

In early April I took Uber from my home to Ontario Airport. Before arriving the airport I asked the driver to drop me off at terminal 2. She ignored my request but drove me to terminal 4 as she mentioned she followed the destination by the app shows. Moreover, she took me to the line for share ride spot and incarcerated me in the “Waiting Line” for over a half hour since she claimed she could drop me at the spot only. I’ve never face such problem before with other share ride app at other airport. I did a research later and I found the waiting spot is for picking up only, Uber driver can drop passengers in where curbside signs indicate you may safely drop off riders. For this reason I missed my flight and have to cancel my related reservation with extra forfeitable fees.

Lyft Complaint

I was charged a $100 damage fee for apparently leaving a small amount of dirt on the floor mat of the car. I was provided three photos of the "damage", which could easily be cleaned up with a vacuum in a minute or so. Apparently, the driver gave anecdotal evidence that I was the rider who caused the "damage", though no one from the company bothered to follow up with me to get my impression of the ride. But regardless of if I did or didn't dirty the floor mat, to call this damage is completely absurd, and the $100 charge is so far out of line with the actual problem, that to mind it clearly constitutes fraud.

Lyft Complaint

Upon arrival to my destination the driver was interacting managing a ride request notification seconds before stopping to let me out if the back seat. She immediately forgot about me and proceded ro drive. I had only one leg out of the car. The wheel ran over my foot. She stopped after hearing me scream trapping my foot directly under the tire. I still have Achilles pain. I received an email from lyft the same day acknowledging there driver reported "the incident "

Uber Complaint

An old Uber account of mine was hacked and the hacker attempted to charge a few hundred dollars in rides to my various accounts and cards. I contacted Uber, provided the proof that the account was hacked, the charges were coming from Amsterdam and I live in Brooklyn, NY! They refused to help me by phone and the email support would not help me closed the old account down.
