i have booked 4 night for me and my small family including my daughter 4 years old, then i have traveled from city to my destination around 700 kms 7:30 hours driving in hot weather 39 degrees , after i reach my destination the host said it rented already, so they let me wait from 14h afternon they said they will fin solution for me tel 19h they start playing with me they said we can offer you ahotel 1 hour from my position . end of story no thing happen just they let me sleep in the car with a kids 4 years old

I had booked a house in seaside heights with a host the day before check in. I have spoken with Airbnb and the host himself regarding the full refund. The host replied that he was not aware of his own place strict policy and had approved the message when speaking with me but said otherwise to airbnb. Later, to finding out there is a partner in this decision that was never made aware of till now. He will not pick up my phone calls or return them.

I am staying in a longterm airBnB while interning in Chicago for the summer, from June 15 to August 23 (about 10 weeks). There have been several small issues to which the hosts have been responsive (broken lock, for example). However, the airBnB said it has a "washer and dryer in building, for free or for a fee" as an amenity when I booked, and it is still there. The description also said there was laundry in the basement when I booked. I texted my host yesterday how I could access the basement laundry, and he replied that there was no laundry anymore. Hey my name is Jacobe and in the past week Ive been having unpleasant experiences with Airbnb. The problems started on June 5th when I booked a reservation at the Rosemary. The host was renovating the place and it left a smell in the air that gave me a bad migraine. I was forced to stay the night, as airbnb was unable to book me another room. The company only reimbursed me 50% of my money back and gave me a sympathy coupon of $25 off for my next stay. I proceeded to book a two day stay for the amount of $400 which was voided by the host. I booked a place with them 12/6/2018 and today the sent me a cancellation text with zero explanations. I am sick of companies and host being protected and having rules we need to follow but who protects the consumer? Not even a credit towards another booking just told me they cant help me. I'm extremely stressed and upset that my plans are ruined and the suffer no consequences.

They are refusing to pay for damages and costs of over $2,000 from guest who stayed several months ago. I have called and messaged several times to resolve the issue. The Resolution section, host guarantee, and insurance stipulations are misleading. Airbnb phone representatives provide frivolous information, and when transferred to other departments, they do not return calls or respond by email. It also takes time out of my job to handle these issues.

Airbnb’s app glitched and told us our first choice was unavailable for those dates. We then tried to book another, and was given the same message. We then went on our laptop instead and saw they both actually went through. Now Airbnb will not refund us on the second one. We should not be responsible because of bad technology.

Owner/Management of unit available cancelled on us 2 days prior to our departure for San Juan, Puerto Rico. We had to scramble and get a much lower level of a location because it was so last minute, nothing else was available. It was Memorial Day Weekend, of course everything was booked. For the original place we had reserved and fully paid for, and booked a week and a half prior, the owner/manager told us that the elevator was going to be shutdown and that renovations were occuring in the common area and that she couldn't allow anyone to stay in apartment without a working elevator.
