Vivint Complaint

4 years ago my mother open an account with Vivint. she and I had just rented a house together and we had my two young sons with us. 2 years later she got very sick and went to a nursing home but I kept paying the Vivint. During that time I called Vivint to ask for some help with my bills, the salesman said that he could do me a favor and lower my bill $10 a month for one year. I was really grateful until now, my mother has passed away and my boys and I would like to move out of this house so I called Vivint because I knew that it was just a couple of months before my contract was up. until they told me that when I had called and he had supposedly helped me by giving me a discount, he had also scammed me into another 60 month contract and that I would have to pay over $3,000 to get out of it.

Airbnb Complaint

Host committed theft of Guest property, then Host committed extortion by demanding additional money, other than shipping fees, to return Guest property. Airbnb never reached out to Host to demand return of Guest property, instead, Airbnb rebated 50% of replacement cost of stolen items value to Guest. Host is still listed on Airbnb.

United Airlines Complaint

An attendant took my carry on bag and placed it in checked baggage--without my permission. When I retrieved my bag my lap top won't turn on, my sleep apnea machine is broken, computer mouse shattered, etc. The airline states they have no liability for the actions of their employee or reimbursing me replacement costs. I sought help at the United Security Baggage desk. Not one would examine the effects. Not one had me fill out any paperwork. And instead verbally (uncaringly) referred me to the United Airlines.com/feedback page.

PayPal Complaint

I had money sent to me through PayPal and have been trying to transfer my money to my verified bank account. After numerous phone calls where I am left on hold for hours at a time they refuse to transfer my funds stating they cannot confirm my identity. I have been through their confirmation process multiple times, waited the time limits they suggest, I've sent in copies of my drivers license and w2 as requested and they still continue to say they cannot confirm my identity. The money has cleared the account it was sent from and now I am collecting late fees on my rent which i had relied on this money to pay. I am also looking st a pay or vacate notice due to their poor customer service. They advertise send as much as you like, as often as you like to whoever you need to. What they dont tell you is that if it's any higher dollar amount that they will freeze your account and hold your money.

Planet Fitness Complaint

Tried to cancel membership in December 2018. Spoke to employee over the phone who told me my account was cancelled and I was “all set.” Come January, I received a notice from my bank stating my account had been overdrawn due to planet fitness. So i called them and spoke to a manager who informed me that I had actually needed to come in to the gym in order to cancel my membership. I told them that their employees needed to be better trained because there is no reason my account should have been overdrawn. I work several hours a week and am also in the army reserves so I have to attend drill once a month so I wasn’t able to make it in to the gym until about a week before they charged me a second time in February. Even though I had made it in to cancel my membership before the charge due day, they still overdrew from my account a second time! I have been trying for weeks now to receive contact from a manager and no luck. I believe it is their responsibility to correct this overdrawn issue and the fees that came along with it from my bank since it was the fault of their employee assuring me my account had been cancelled in December.

Wells Fargo Complaint

Fraudulent charges were made on my account. I was advised to create a new account but the old account was improperly handled and caused me an overdraft. I complained for months regarding it and got no assistance. 2 weeks ago I was told by the executive office that I had a zero balance and no longer would I receive offset fees this was not true because today more money was taken out of my account.

Avalon Complaint

I have only lived in the apartment for about six weeks. I have neighbors who make ridiculous amounts of noise. I have contacted management numerous times regarding the matter as well as had to call security a dozen times regarding this matter. Nothing has been resolved. Management has completely dropped the ball on this matter and I have had no peace and quiet since the moment I've moved in. I want the money that I paid and rent this far return to me as well as the money it's going to cost me to move to a new home. My right to quiet enjoyment has never been a right since the moment I arrived
