On July 7th I booked and paid for a beach front residence in Malibu, CA. Upon checking in to the home and entering the Airbnb code we were shocked to find that we walked in on a lady and her young child. We left without getting her information, when we tried to make contact with the person in the home, she declined to answer the door. We then had to book residency elsewhere. When I asked for a full refund, reimbursement for the 2nd room, and the food we bought to cook, the owner agreed, yet Airbnb says he didn’t.

SuddenLink has been charging me $10.00/month every month since February, 2019 for rental of their modem that was returned in February, 2019. I have provided, on several different occasions, tracking information from FedEx that confirms the returned equipment was received by SuddenLInk. Suddenlink has verified this information no less than 3 times. I have contacted SuddenLink Customer Service/Billing, as of yesterday (July 16, 2019), a total of 14 times regarding this issue. Hertz was taking money out of my checking account even before I returned the rental. The amount I owed them, 2100, was paid in full. I know this because I called my bank that day and they verified my payment. On July 15th, Hertz billed me again for 2100 dollars and took that money from my account. I called them today and they verified they had double billed me. They said they can send me a check for this discrepancy in 3-5 business days. In the meantime. I have a negative checking account balance which I’m paying fees for. I have bills to be paid through automated checking which won’t be paid. The salesman said they he was giving away free equipment. I triple checked and asked multiple times that the equipment being installed was completely free? He said yes I would just be charged the monthly service fee. This turns out was not the case. I have filed for a cancellation but they will not do it until the equipment is paid for. They said I verbally agreed on the phone call confirming. I said no I didn't. I agreed to the service all the while the salesman is standing there feeding me more lies about how he was doing a soft credit check and in fact getting me to do a loan. I requested a copy of that phone call as well as my contract all of which I never received.

I requested to cancel my services and close my account on 7/11, I chatted in with multiple people and also spoke on the phone with someone. The chat rep I spoke to said I had to talk to this person on the phone, when they called me they placed me on hold for several minutes, then came back and tried to tell me I hadn't paid off my devices so they couldn't unlock them.
