Florida. I Initiated service on the 9th, scheduled to begin on the 26th. I told them I was going to buy my own modem and HOA/landlord pays for TV. Salesman said they will ship modem and I should just return it. There was no disclosure of a shipping fee or any alternative to shipping like picking up a modem (that i would not need). First bill arrived for $130, that included a $30 shipping fee. The company corrected the bill but said as I okayed a text message for shiiping I was still obligated to the fee. My view is the fee should have been disclosed or shipping “service” omitted entirely as I had disclosed zero intention to use any of their equipment. The made their shipping service a profit center at my expense.
