For over the past year my bill for Direct TV, Internet and home phone was $116. In April this went to $159 so I called on May 6, 2019 to see how to reduce this monthly bill. I was told if I added m cell phone for $30 a month my new package for the four services would be reconfigured to $120 a month. I verified with the CS person that this amount would include all 4 services and I was assured this was true. I would not have accepted this offer otherwise. I accepted this offer. The first bill I received was for $302. I called again to protest this, but got no satisfaction so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was not given to a supervisor but was told my inquiry would be sent to another department for review and I would be contacted in 10 days. I was never contacted. I recieved the next bill for $505. This is in addition to the payment of $159 on my charge card for May for my old service. I called again on June 24 to protest this and the CS person was able to reconfigure my four services to $148 per month. I asked about the current charge of $505 and was told I would have to pay that. I was devistated with this so I was offered a $100 credit. Because I felt helpless to fight this I reluctently agreed to pay this before it got any worse and my credit would be negatively impacted. So on June 23, 2019 I paid the charge of $405.05. I asked everyone I talked to if they could listen to the recording of May 6,2019 to listen to the original promise of $120 per month. This was just brushed off. I feel if this recording could be heard it would substantiate my position.
