Around 5/11/18 i contacted dish network about canceling my service. the person i talked with was having issue with there system and said they would call back. they did and they were still having issues. they assured me they would cancel my service. i stopped watching the service and started using my new service. after waiting for a box to arrive for an extended amount of time i called a second time for my box to send my unit back. much to my surprise they hadnt canceled my service or sent a box. i waited for the box to arrive which came in Sept of 2018. I sent it back but was billed like $500 for the device. I had to call and get this all taken care of. There was no bill remaining at that time. I have not heard a single word from dish in the past year. after getting a notification that my credit report had changed i see they turned this over to a collections agency. i have had no clue of there being any sort of bill due. dish could not provide me with any tracking information on any letters they may have sent. when i contacted them they show no wrong doing on there part.
