DirecTV Complaint

My family has been with DIRECT TV for over 15 years to date and the first 10 years or so seem to be the good choice for us because we are avid football fans and they had an exclusive with the NFL for pro football,that was simply enough incentive to compell us to purchase.

However, in the last 4 to 5 years (mostly the last 3), it has become increasingly difficult, to say the least, to have a contract/agreement with DIRECT TV that is resonable and feasible without that same contract changing and transforming over the next 6-12 months to ballon your payment due up about 25% to 50% and then almost double. This of course is not acceptable and I call only to get someone who makes you think you are conversing with a supervisor to solve the problem at hand but, in reality it’s actually just another call center rep ( no offense, a regular person),who doesn’t solve the problem but abslutely complicates and makes the matter worst, first by changing the program you had to something that they have miraculously come up with all of a sudden and will now SAVE you money. And then of course the “BUNDLE”.This has become the worst BAIT and SWITCH sales pitch of all times. Yes, worst than cable,which was why we left them.

So now we keep getting our services bundled (doubleing our bill) even though we are adamant and consistent in telling them that we absolutely do not want our services combined and /or bundeled.

The last three or four times we have attempted resolve our subsequent high bills,we get the the same thing just performed a different way. Now we are not getting a current DIRECT TV bill ( When I inquire they say “it’s being generated”), a month or so later I get a double bill for both services which I am definitely not able to pay all at once.

This continues to happen over and over again. I have explained to these reps on several occaisions that I am dealing with clinical depression and anxiety since some traumatic events in 2017, and that this absolutely causes me setbacks and anxiety.

It seems that I can’t win with this company or even be treated fairly no matter what I am subjected to in order for them to continue to extract monies from my family.

I thouroughly believe that we are in need of an advocate or represenative to aid us in this endeavor.

Evrything that we have tried to do with this company has been futile and to no avail no matter what.

we want and look forward to a resolve, good service and a smaller bill.
