Frontier Communications Complaint

Back in June of 2018, I received a bill from Frontier that was nearly double our normal monthly service fee. Our bill went from $233.40/month to $447.40/month, and I never asked for or agreed to any additions/changes in my service. Over the past year, I have filed several disputes to remedy this situation (Dispute S-****, Dispute S-****, and Dispute S-****). I have spent hours of time with customer service representatives, and nothing has ever been resolved. In addition, I asked for them to examine their recorded phone records to prove that I never agreed to any extra fees. My calls were never returned. I finally had to cancel my service with them. According to my records, I owe Frontier $512.39, not the $1318.83 that they claim I owe. I have now received a letter from Frontier stating that if I do not pay this amount in full, they will send my account to a collection agency. Even their own collection department will not speak with me. I have EXCELLENT CREDIT (840) and do not want to blemish my credit history, and will sue for damages if my credit is damaged.
