Purchased a device on May 6th 2019 with an installment plan with ATT at the Apple store. Returned the device the next day which grants me a full refund of the new line and the device amount funded. This resulted in n overcharge on my account which they have refused to remove. For a month, I have called several times with an ATT and/or Apple employee present and was told that this issue would be solved quickly and was even given the date of the 2nd of June being the latest it should be resolved. Throughout the process , no one from ATT reached out to me with any other information. Every time I called I was told that device was never returned even with proof of return(my receipt) which has been documented in the notes of my ATT account. On the 5 of June I attempted to reach out again to check the status. When chatting via the Att app every time I was getting transferred my chat was disconnected. I then came into an ATT store and was told to call customer service with a store rep. Once we got on the phone with a rep and I gave details my connection was yet again disconnected. We then got through with a rep and was told I must pay the overcharged bill amount first before anything would be resolved.
